Doggie Daycare for Joint Base Lewis-McChord at the Pet Brigade

The purpose of Doggie Daycare is to provide a safe, indoor/outdoor, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekday business hours. This is an indoor and outdoor daycare facility. We pre-screen all our doggie day care attendees so they will get along and have an enjoyable time together. We think it's worth it, the dogs seem to have a great time. Of course, your dog has to be healthy and have all their shots current.

We also offer Puppy Daycare, where the puppies are initially kept separate from the older dogs. The puppies get naps and extra feeding if required.

The Pet Brigade offers daycare services for clients PCS’ing in or out during your moving process.

Moving Day Doggie Daycare. Moving is stressful enough without trying to keep track of your pet. We will take care of your pet for the day while the movers are there to pack up your household goods.

24 hour advance reservations are required for daycare. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows will be charged full fees. Call us to make your doggie daycare reservation.

Doggie Daycare Requirements for Admission

All dogs must be at least 4 months of age or older.

All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.

Vaccinations

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations.
Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations.
Rabies vaccination is required for puppies over 4 months of age.
Current fecal exam is required.

Health

All dogs must be in good health. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests.

Owners will certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.

Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health prior to being admitted or re-admitted.

Behavior

All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

Application

All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date application on file. There is a one-time $20.00 non-refundable application-screening fee for each pet, this is in addition to your daycare fee.

Monday through Friday from 05:45 to 18:00

Late Pickup
If you fail to pick-up your dog(s) from daycare by 18:30, you will incur late fee of $1.00 per minute until the daycare staff goes off duty at 19:00. At 19:00, your late fee converts into a boarding charge and we will prepare to keep your dog overnight if necessary. If we do board your dog overnight, you are required to pick-up your dog(s) by noon the next business day or incur additional boarding fees.
