The Pet Brigade, LLC is the only full pet service facility located on Fort Lewis, WA that offers dog and cat boarding, doggie daycare, grooming and training; it is also the only kennel in the United States that is privately owned and operated located on a military post. The Pet Brigade is a “Joint Public Private Venture” with Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR). It is the next generation in boarding facilities for your beloved pet. We have built a state-of-the-art indoor, temperature-controlled facility that provides a clean, comfortable and secure environment for your pet on over five acres of land. At our "Dog and Cat Barracks," your pet will not be bored or stressed while you are away, enjoying beautiful large and spacious outside runs, extremely large exercise and play areas, a healthy diet, nature walks and pool play time. We also have cat condos for your feline friends with a great playroom for their enjoyment. Our highly trained staff will ensure your pet is cared for and treated with love and dignity. Dog Training Classes
The Pet Brigade is going to begin Training Classes on Saturday, June 13th. Each class will consist of seven consecutive weeks, on the same scheduled day and time each week unless otherwise announced. Click for more info.
The Pet Brigade has entered into an agreement with The Family Dog Training Center, Kent WA to conduct it’s training at Fort Lewis.
NEW DA DIRECTED PET POLICY FOR PRIVITIZED HOUSING
Effective immediately the following breeds are restricted from residing on any federal Army installation. Pitbulls (American Staffordshire Bull Terriors or English Staffordshire Bull Terriors) as well as any other breed which exhibits aggressive or potentially aggressive behavior as outlined in our pet policy & resident handbook. This policy applies to all housing on Lewis-McChord Communities. ALL current residents will be grandfathered in IF there is a signed approved pet addendum in the current resident file listing these breeds. ALL others will need to remove these breeds from the premesis.
Saturday Grooming
We are starting Saturday dog grooming from 9 to noon.
Foster Families Needed
We are looking for families that are animal lovers that would like to help a soldier out while they are deployed or TDY by fostering their pet. If you are interested you can call the Pet Brigade or e-mail your information to us.

Moving Day Doggie Daycare
